For the second week in a row, the weather contrived to deny us and both games were called off. It was probably the correct decision on the day, given the condition of the pitch. Unfortunately the reserves were not given the opportunity to replay the game, since the game was not considered important enough. The seniors game was rescheduled towards the end of the season at our "home away from home", Darebin.
Seniors (played weeks later again) Venue - The still grandly titled Darebin International Sports Centre Pitch - Synthetic, although starting to look threadbare Weather - Freezing bloody cold, again! Canteen - Still daggy Crowd - Still there from the previous week ... frozen 'til eternity
Seniors Result ... lost 0-3 Scorers ... as you can see, we didn't.
On another frozen night in the wasteland of Darebin, the lads tried manfully against the very competitive and solid looking Rowville side. They'd got stronger as the season progressed, and even with our lads training on synthetic, they were no match for Rowville on the night.
No real highlights in a lack-lustre performance, although Prashan got the man of the match award. Always classy, Prashan looks good whenever he gets the ball. Micky P on the left flank was also solid, but ultimately thi wasn't enough in the relegation struggle.
